Tanks filled and analysed we adjourned to the divers’ accommodation at Go
Dive’s Taranna facility where Rubens ran through the course outline. Then it was off to bed before Dive 1. Trimix, here I come.

TRIMIX COURSE - PART 1
The last few days slipped by in a blur.
Home from work, assemble new tanks, get packed for Trimix course,
collect family from airport, drive to course site… and here I am.
Last night I arrived as the others were filling their tanks for today’s
diving – G-size cylinders of helium and oxygen lined the wall, dive gear
arranged around its owners’ tubs. I
finally met Rubens Monaco, our instructor for this course. Based in Victoria, Rubens makes the trip to
Tasmania to instruct, saving participants the expense of a trip to Melbourne.
